Position Title: Vantage Pre-Launch Operations Lead
Employment Type: Part-Time (3 days per week)
Contract Duration: Mid-January – 31 December 2026
Reports To: Project Lead and Project Manager, Vantage
Location: Sydney, NSW
Role Overview
The Pre-Launch Operations Lead will play a critical role in ensuring Vantage is ready for its 2027 launch. This position focuses on operational readiness, partnership development, and community engagement—laying the foundations for a world-class educational experience.
You will oversee key functions including facilities and logistics, learner administration, partnership engagement, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships, Industry, and Government Engagement
* Build and manage partnerships with industry, community, and government stakeholders to co-design innovative learning experiences.
* Establish frameworks for ongoing collaboration with external organisations.
* Represent Vantage and Unity Grammar's ethos, child safety standards, and educational vision.
Facilities, Logistics, and Procurement
* Implement and monitor the Facilities and Maintenance Plan to ensure a safe, efficient, and future-ready environment.
* Manage asset tracking, procurement, and vendor relationships in alignment with policies and budgets.
* Coordinate logistics for key events and Vantage activities.
* Support space planning and fit-out coordination.
Learner Administration and Data Management
* Support enrolment, admissions, and learner record management processes.
* Ensure accurate and secure handling of student data in compliance with policies and legislation.
* Coordinate orientation and transition logistics for prospective students.
* Liaise with Finance and HR on administrative processes related to fees, payroll, and leave.
Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Programme Design
* Collaborate with curriculum leaders to connect industry partners for co-design of inquiry-based learning units.
* Drive pedagogical innovation through research and iteration.
Community and Communication
* Work with Marketing and Communications to articulate Unity Academy's value proposition.
* Foster positive relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
* Ensure all communications reflect Unity Grammar's brand and uphold professional standards.
* Support planning and delivery of community engagement events.
Key Expectations
Be a visible and credible leader who champions Vantage and Unity Grammar's Islamic ethos and values in all interactions and decisions.

Essential Criteria
* Bachelor's degree in education, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Leadership experience in an educational or programme development context.
* Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and curriculum innovation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in building partnerships across education, industry, or government.
* Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in launching new schools or innovative education models.
* Understanding of Islamic educational values and Unity Grammar's mission.
* Prior experience managing cross-sector collaborations or community partnerships.
