Position - Senior .NET Engineer
Location – Sydney – Hybrid – 3 days from office
The .Net principal Engineer is a senior, hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and delivering robust, scalable, and future-proof technology solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with practical implementation, ensuring that engineering decisions are guided by enduring architectural principles and aligned with business strategy. The Principal Engineer leads by example, actively contributing to code, solution design, and technical problem-solving, while mentoring teams and driving engineering excellence
Qualifications and Experience

5+ years' experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role
·
Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, solution delivery, and technical leadership with the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, Web APIs, etc.)
·
Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
·
Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to see the big picture
·
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps in a .NET environment
·
Experience with cloud platforms (SaaS, PaaS), Azure devops, and domain-driven design
·
Deep understanding of architecture principles, governance, and best practices.
·
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage with both technical and business audiences.
·
Experience in technical leadership, including mentoring and developing engineers.
·
Subject matter expertise in one or more areas: Application Architecture, Integration, Data Architecture, Infrastructure, Security.
·
Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline)
