We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager vacancy. The applicant will be responsible for:
1. Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management
aspects of projects.
2. Responsible for leading a project with the desired aim of successful completion to client’s and CPC
Engineering’s requirements within safety and profitability targets.
Education and Experience:
3. Appropriate levels of Project Management qualifications.
4. Preferably a trade qualification, or relevant, with regards to engineering.
5. Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
6. Experience Project Manager in an engineering environment
7. Ability to present and communicate across all channels.
8. Contract Management ability.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
9. Successful management of CPC Engineering Projects with the aim of ensuring: Completion of task as per project specification.Zero harm to anyone involved in the project.Agreed levels, or better, of profitability.Project engineering schedules and forecasts.
10. Project engineering schedules and forecasts.
11. Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
12. Regular project status reports and change orders.
13. Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
14. Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project clients.
15. Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
16. Participating in client/contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and management
project issues.
17. Effective accounting skills such as, but not limited to: Budget monitoring and trend tracking.Profit & Loss accountability.Review and approve project Client invoices.Procurement.Cost control.Efficiency savings
Technical/Systems Knowledge:
18. Project Management processes and procedures.
19. Recognised qualification in Project Management.
20. High level of computer skills regarding project management software.
21. Knowledge of engineering processes, specifically in relation to mining.
