About the Opportunity
Protech is seeking an experienced Supply & Demand Planning Analyst to join our client's team in Virginia.
This is an ongoing opportunity offering stability and the chance to contribute to a high-performing supply chain function within a manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in improving forecast accuracy, ensuring material availability, reducing stockouts, and optimising inventory performance.
You'll work closely with cross‐functional teams to balance demand and supply while driving efficiencies across the network.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update demand forecasts within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements
* Support inventory review processes, including ABC classification and ongoing stock optimisation
* Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify risks such as overstock, stockouts, and supply constraints
* Contribute to the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process, including demand inputs, reporting, and analysis
* Ensure integrity and accuracy of master data to support effective planning outcomes
* Develop and deliver regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance
* Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, operations, and supply chain to validate inputs and communicate insights
About You
You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for data‐driven decision‐making and supply chain efficiency.
Skills & Experience
* 1–3 years' experience in a supply chain, planning, or analyst role
* Solid understanding of end‐to‐end supply‐chain processes
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
* Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); Power BI or similar tools are advantageous
* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded)
* Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics/concrete preferred)
