Network Support Officer Job Description
This role is responsible for providing front-line support to staff and students in the school's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems. The successful applicant will be a skilled network administrator with expertise in managing network systems, platforms, and devices.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to staff and students via phone, email, or internal ticketing system.
* Analyze network performance issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to maximize educational outcomes.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network technologies, hardware, software applications used within the organization.
* Promote best practices for data security procedures within the ICT team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with strong analytical thinking capabilities required for troubleshooting complex issues on our networks.
The Network Support Officer is expected to work independently as well as collaboratively towards achieving departmental goals through effectively communicating key updates & ideas using clear concise language when dealing directly across departments internally externally alike.
The position involves also being proactive about improving operational efficiency throughout our division ensuring seamless delivery quality education.
