Lead Community Care Specialist
The Opportunity
This role involves leading a team of Community Care staff who provide direct care to our clients.
About the Role
The successful candidate will ensure that staff have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences, providing services tailored to meet these needs within budget and service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading, supporting, and mentoring their team in partnership with the Care Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Client Liaison Manager, and Regional Area Manager.
* Recruiting new Care Workers and ensuring all necessary resources are available.
* Performance coaching and managing a team while operating in a multi-site environment.
* Traveling between sites and maintaining a current driver's licence and safe driving record.
* Utilizing strong organisational, administrative, and computer skills.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Aged Care (desirable), HR or similar degree & a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Knowledge of the Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
