Design & Build are working with a local Canberra builder with a excellent reputation to bring on-board a Contracts Administrator, initially working on projects in the range of $30m - $90m in the class 2 residential space.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with tender documents for submission
- Completing take-off for constructions estimates
- Preparation of scopes of work
- Negotiating and letting subcontracts
- Programming and managing variations
- Procuring materials
- Liaising with consultants, submitting and closing out RFI’s
- Assisting with client progress claims
- Approving subcontract progress claims
- Administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Preparation of site documentation for construction certification.
About you
- 3+ years experience in a similar Contracts Administrator role.
- Project based contract and financial administration experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex or similar construction software
