We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial/Commercial Electrician to join our team in a hands-on role involving electrical servicing, installations and fault finding across automatic doors, roller shutters, gate systems and control panels.
While experience with automatic or garage doors is highly desirable, it is not essential — we will provide full product training. What you must have is strong electrical capability, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
No two days will ever be the same. You will work across commercial sites, industrial facilities and residential environments, carrying out electrical diagnostics, repairs and installations, while also assisting with occasional factory duties as needed.
As part of our 24/7 commitment to customers, there is a requirement to participate in an after-hours roster on a rotational basis, with a competitive on-call allowance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
· Electrical maintenance, installation and troubleshooting on industrial/commercial automatic doors, roller shutters, motors and control panels.
· Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to ensure all products operate safely and efficiently.
· Installation and servicing of door and gate automation equipment.
· Providing a high level of service and technical support to customers.
· Ensuring all work meets safety, quality and compliance standards.
· Factory support including stock loading/unloading and despatch when required.
· Working independently while representing the business professionally.
YOUR SKILLS
· Unrestricted Electrical Licence (essential).
· Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
· Ability to use a wide range of power tools and electrical testing equipment.
· Mechanically minded with an interest in automation systems.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
· Physical fitness and agility to perform hands-on work safely.
· Drivers 'C' Class Licence.
· White Construction Card (or willingness to obtain).
A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening will be required.
