An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Associate to join a high performing boutique commercial law firm with a strong and stable client base. This role offers exposure to complex, high quality litigation work, close mentoring from senior lawyers, and genuine career development within a growing firm. You’ll work closely with experienced Senior Associates and Special Counsel, supporting major litigation matters while progressively building confidence and autonomy in your own files. The Work This is a general commercial litigation role with a strong workflow and meaningful responsibility. Matters include: Assisting on complex litigation files from start to finish Drafting statements of claim, court documents and correspondence Debt recovery and finance-related litigation Enforcement work including bankruptcy notices and statutory demands Preparing briefs and assisting with court appearances Client reporting and matter management Supporting Senior Associates across a range of commercial disputes The practice acts for major finance clients, large corporates, insolvency practitioners, and high net worth individuals, providing exposure rarely seen at this level in larger firms. About You This role will suit a motivated litigation lawyer who wants strong training, real responsibility, and quality work. You will ideally have: 2-4 years’ PQE in litigation Experience in general commercial litigation or dispute resolution Strong drafting and attention to detail A proactive, reliable approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks An interest in building a long term career in litigation Confidence working in a fast paced, collaborative environment Experience in debt recovery, insolvency, enforcement, or court appearances will be highly regarded but is not essential.
