CIVIL FOREMAN POSITION AVAILABLE
Due to recent growth & upcoming works we are looking for another experienced subdivision & civil foreman to run subdivision & civil road projects.
We have a position available for reliable, energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team to run the construction of projects in a hands on, onsite role
What we are looking for -
Previous sub division construction team leader / supervision experience is essential
Minimum 3-5 years of subdivision construction team leader/supervision experience required
Confident leading crews and delivering large scale projects
Competent in reading plans and using GPS systems (Top Con or similar)
Regular use experience with GPS systems is essential
Basic surveying skills (set out & pick up)
Gippsland civil are based in Traralgon with multiple projects locally we specialise in-:
* Sub division construction
* Pipe laying and pit building
* Kerb and channel preparation
* Road pavement preparation
* General earthworks
* Retaining wall construction
* Labour services
* Concreting
* Excavator & Posi track wet hire
* Truck hire & cartage
The successful Applicant will be required to perform but not limited to-:
* Operate machinery & perform prestart checks
* Interpret construction plans and manage project activities to ensure quality, safety & timelines are met
* Coordinate site resources including plant, materials & sub-contractors
* Liase with managers and directors to ensure smooth productive workflow
* Provide clear, practical leadership to a team of operators, and trainees
Qualification requirements-:
* Truck license HR minimum
* Proven Experience in the construction industry
* Construction Induction Card
* Excellent communication and good people skills
* A positive and proactive 'can do' attitude.
* Permanent Australian residency status required
