Administration Assistant, Under 18 Guardianship Service
Contract: Full time, fixed term contract until 24 December 2026
Location: On-campus, Docklands, Melbourne
Salary: $74,546 - $82,001 + 12% super + great benefits

About The Role
In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting the welfare of underage international students by ensuring that guardianship and accommodation arrangements are accurately processed and recorded in compliance with the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students and relevant government legislation.
In this role, your expertise will be at the forefront as you:
* Respond to queries from parents, students, and international agents
* Provide administrative support to the Under 18 Guardianship team by reviewing applications and following up with agents to ensure all documentation is complete
* Issue guardianship service invoices and monitor payments
* Maintain accurate soft and hard copy filing of student records
* Monitor students' arrival arrangements and liaise with airport pick-up and accommodation providers
* Assist with data entry across various databases, templates, documents, and spreadsheets
About You
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service experience, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
This role is ideal for someone who can manage competing priorities, support key business functions, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
* Relevant experience in an administrative role
* Previous experience with ESOS compliance (preferred)
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A supportive team-oriented attitude
* An appreciation and understanding of the needs of diverse cultures
