Join Our Pharmacy Team and Deliver Quality Care
We're seeking a motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary full-time basis for 6 months. In this role, you'll provide client-focused, evidence-based pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary environment. You'll contribute to patient safety, quality improvement and effective medication management while working under the guidance of senior pharmacists. This role offers varied clinical, dispensary and management responsibilities, with opportunities to further develop your skills and support continuity of care across the North West Hospital and Health Service.
About The Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy services across our health service. You will work collaboratively with senior pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams while contributing to patient safety, clinical governance and culturally responsive care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based clinical pharmacy services, including medication history, review, counselling and discharge planning.
Rotate through dispensary and clinical areas while supporting quality improvement and professional standards.
Maintain accurate records, contribute to policy development and support departmental operations.
Train, supervise and mentor students and pharmacy support staff under senior pharmacist guidance.
Promote culturally safe, person-centred care that aligns with NWHHS values and governance frameworks.

Requirements
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including criminal history checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
