About the Traineeship
* Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week over 12 months in an aged care setting.
* Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through TLC Learning.
* Secure ongoing employment opportunities within TLC Aged Care homes in Melbourne's South East.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic, resident‐centred care under the supervision of experienced staff and nurses.
* Support residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, oral care, meals, and lifestyle activities.
* Build positive relationships with residents and families, ensuring dignity, respect and privacy.
* Work collaboratively with the care team, including Registered Nurses and allied health professionals.
* Monitor and report changes in residents' wellbeing to support safe, high‐quality care delivery.
* Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Follow all health, safety, infection control and compliance requirements within an aged care setting.

* Ability to work well in a team.
* Motivation to learn and develop.
* Ability to multitask.
Prerequisites
* Up to date COVID‐19 vaccinations (3 doses). Flu vaccination in 2026.
* NDIS Check (including Police Clearance).
* Australian Resident or Permanent Resident of Australia.
