Position Responsibilities
* Preparation of SMSF Financial Statements
* Completion of SMSF Annual Returns
* Preparation of Tax Reconciliations
* Reconciliations of investment balances and investment returns
* Calculation of pension liabilities
* BAS & IAS Statements as required
* Preparation of electronic workpapers
* Preparation of audit package and liaising with external auditors
* Preparation of Trustee documentation
* Ensuring work completion satisfying budget and time constraints
* Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC
* Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated
* Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required
* Other tasks as required
About you
* 2+ years' experience in a chartered accounting practice specialising in SMSF
* General compliance experience (advantageous but not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Degree qualified, CA completed or near completion
* Proficient with Class Super, MYOB, Xero, HowNow, Excel and Word
* Proactive, self‐motivated, and client‐focused
