THE ROLE
We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an Enrolment and Accounts Officer to join our Early Learning Centres at Macquarie University. This is a continuing, part‐time position (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
The successful candidate will be based at Banksia Cottage, working collaboratively with the Centre Manager and the Early Learning Administration and Management team. This role focuses on enrolments and accounts administration and does not involve working directly with children.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide high‐quality administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient enrolment processes and accurate accounts management for families attending our centres. You will maintain compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform key tasks including maintaining family accounts, processing enrolments, managing the waitlist and proactively supporting occupancy growth
* Act as the first point of contact for enrolment and account related enquiries, providing accurate information and timely communication, and resolving or escalating issues as appropriate
* Deliver a range of administrative and support services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the centre
* Perform general administrative duties such as records management, filing, managing email inboxes, website management, ordering stock and supplies, preparing, updating, and distributing documents
* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders, including families, third‐party providers, and the Early Learning Team
* Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework, Government funding (such as Child Care Subsidy, Inclusion Support and Start Strong Funding and Campus Life policies and procedure
* Actively support and contribute to all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in administration (or a related field)
* Demonstrated experience providing administrative and support services in a diverse working environment (experience in centre‐based long day care or Outside School Hours Care is highly desirable)
* Ability to prioritise tasks, exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines
* High level computer literacy, including Office 365 and experience using (or willingness to learn) registered childcare management software (e.g. Xplor)
* Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

* Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain prior to commencement). Applicants who currently hold a clearance are encouraged to include their WWCC clearance number in their application.
