About the Opportunity:

This Customer Business Manager is a key member of the KC Pharmacy & Professional Care Team. The role involves contributing to a high-performing sales culture within KC, focusing on developing skills and leading growth in the Pharmacy Channel, with potential for future roles within the organization.

Reporting to the Account Director – Pharmacy & Professional Care, this position manages the Pharmacy Channel at KCA, including wholesalers, major pharmacy groups (Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Terry White Chemmart), and select Level 2 customers. It is a leadership role with significant financial responsibilities, aimed at organizational growth. As a senior leader, the role requires prioritizing enterprise-wide strategies, values, and goals, and nurturing future sales talent through coaching and leadership.

Responsibility Areas:

Management of Strategic Customer Relationships in the Pharmacy Channel

* Achieve sales, profit, and growth targets in the Pharmacy Channel.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales growth aligned with pharmacy targets.
* Develop and implement customer plans in line with channel strategies.

Input to Category Annual Plans and Account-Specific Strategies

* Plan, collaborate, and execute category annual plans for the pharmacy channel.
* Ensure customer plans support long-term sales and profitability goals.
* Collaborate with national account teams to develop and launch customer-specific initiatives.

Achieve Sales Fundamentals

* Develop joint business plans with customers, including regular updates to senior leadership.
* Report key metrics and performance indicators timely.
* Support and coach national account teams to meet ranging, distribution, and share of shelf objectives.
* Work with marketing and other teams to bring customer-specific product and promotional strategies to market.

Financial Management and Forecasting

* Ensure accurate sales forecasting and manage budgets effectively.
* Negotiate trading terms and manage rebates and claims.
* Collaborate with customers on volume requirements and supply outlooks.
