About Us
QuantX Labs is developing advanced quantum-enabled optical clock technologies with real-world applications across defence, space and commercial sectors. We are looking for Physicists to support the development of precision measurement and sensing systems, working closely with engineering teams to bring concepts into practical application.
What you'll be working on
* Designing and implementing experimental setups to research, measure and validate physical principles
* Applying physics principles to the development of quantum and precision measurement technologies
* Performing precise physical assembly of experimental apparatus, ensuring alignment, cleanliness, and stability
* Characterising system performance through experimental and analysis techniques
* Supporting experimental design, modelling and validation activities
* Working alongside engineering teams to translate theory into product outcomes
* Contributing to system performance, analysis and optimisation
* Supporting testing, data analysis and technical problem solving

What we're looking for
We're open to candidates across all levels.
* PhD or Masters in Physics or related discipline
* Experience in one or more of the following:
* Precision optical spectroscopy
* Atomic clock development
* Laser frequency stabilisation
* Optical frequency combs
* Laser development and measurement
* Experience in applied, experimental or systems-based environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
* Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
* Exposure to quantum, sensing or precision measurement environments is beneficial
