Your new company
An established, family‑owned organisation within the crane hire and heavy equipment sector is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join their busy operations team. Known for their long‑term presence in the region and commitment to excellent service, this business offers a stable and supportive working environment.

Your new role
As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting both office and field‑based activities. Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with quarterly BAS and other ATO lodgements
* Maintaining accurate equipment records, including maintenance schedules and certifications
* Preparing and processing documents such as work orders, dockets, and permits
* Managing incoming/outgoing correspondence (emails, calls, online enquiries)
* Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
* Coordinating with clients and suppliers to maintain workflow
* Maintaining a well‑organised office environment
* General administration duties including reception, filing, photocopying, and scanning
* Completing data entry and updating customer, inventory, and project information
This is a full‑time position offering flexibility with start and finish times (38.5 hours per week).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
* Strong administrative experience (5+ years preferred; construction or heavy‑equipment industry experience advantageous)
* Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable but not essential)
* Current driver’s licence
* Proficiency with XERO accounting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management capabilities
* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
