Posted Sunday 2 November **** at 1:00 pmStep into the heart of precision and performance at our Clayton workshop, supporting our specialised team of technicians who take on the toughest rebuilds and repairs in the business.We're on the lookout for a hands-on Trade Assistant to join our Component Rebuild Centre full-time, Monday to Friday - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting rebuilds and repairs of engines, transmissions, final drives, axle groups, hydraulic control valves, fuel pumps and more - from organising tools and parts to daily maintenance of equipment as well as assisting with strip down, clean and inspections of components.

ABOUT THE ROLE Key responsibilities of this role include: Attend and contribute to Morning CATS Meeting (pre-start) dailyAssist tradespeople with repairs, rebuilds, and component rebuildsComplete all necessary paperwork & reports relating to works completedMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standardFollow safety procedures and ensure all work meets quality standardsComplete basic service and maintenance tasks under supervisionEnsure all tooling is in good condition and fit to the task being performed ABOUT YOU You will have the following skills, experience & attributes:A genuine interest in heavy machinery and mechanical workPrevious workshop or mechanical experience (preferred but not essential)Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeopleGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to safetyA positive attitude and readiness to get involved in hands-on work WHAT IS ON OFFER?
