Associate Recruitment Consultant – Technology & IT

Who We Are
Calibre Consulting is a boutique technology recruitment and consulting firm based in Perth, WA. We work with clients across government, disability, health and NFPs - placing high-calibre IT professionals who make a genuine difference. We're a small, senior team and we're growing.
The Role
This is a candidate-facing recruitment role. Your job is to find, qualify, and represent talented IT professionals, matching them to the right opportunities with our existing client base. You'll be coached and supported, and trusted to work independently early.
You won't be building a candidate database from scratch. We have an established pipeline of IT professionals who are ready to work, your job is to keep that pipeline warm and match the right people to the right opportunities.
Your day to day will include:
* Managing and nurturing our existing candidate database to identify who is job-ready
* Reaching out to candidates via LinkedIn and phone to understand their availability and career goals
* Monitoring job boards and proactively matching our candidates to live opportunities
* Managing candidates through the interview and offer process
* Keeping our CRM updated so we always have a live, accurate pipeline
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has worked in a sales or client-facing role and is ready to build a career in the technology sector. You're the kind of person who:
* Is genuinely curious about technology - you follow the industry, you enjoy talking about it
* Wants a corporate career path with ambitions to grow, not just a job
* Has hit sales targets before and wants to be rewarded properly for doing it again
* Can build rapport quickly on the phone and in person
* Is self-motivated and organised
Bonus Points If:
* You have a polished, active LinkedIn profile with a strong network
* You have previously worked in a customer-facing technology role (e.g. Apple, JB Hi-Fi, Telstra or similar)
* You have experience in B2B or inside sales

* Commission: Uncapped. $10k quarterly threshold, then 15% of placement fees - your second placement starts earning
* Progression: Clear pathway to leading Calibre's recruitment function within 2–3 years, with base and commission increases to match
