Our client, a leading provider of fire protection services in Australia who supply specialist fire protection services to the mining, marine, industrial, commercial and retail industries, is seeking a Regional Manager to join their team
**Main duties and responsibilities, but not limited to**:
- Manage the P&L's of each area of responsibility to ensure that Revenue and GM targets are met
- Achieve budgeted targets for sales EBIT and working capital
- Maintain good relationships with existing customers Develop closer links to major clients
- Compliance to EH&S
- Set strategic business plans, with the 'buy in' from direct reports, which identify aggressive but, achievable targets
- Expand the customer base through new markets and new clients
- Ensure appropriate Managers and employees are trained in ACCC Compliance
- Keep up with the latest technological advances, and identify new opportunities using new technology
**Knowledge and experience**:
- A minimum of five (5) years management experience with significant operational, sales and people management exposure.
- Demonstrable ability to drive continuous improvement programs.
- Ability to work both strategically and tactically as required.
- Prior experience in the building services industry.
This role has a full P&L responsibility for the respective branches under the portfolio, therefore, local budgeting and forecasting is a key part of the role.
This will involve the management of all OH&S, Quality, Environment, HR/IR, financial forecasting, budgeting and sales growth plans. The role must also manage and review risk and cost controls and oversee the management of installation and maintenance in the region, the role is also ultimately accountable for the compliance in the respective area.
