About the role
As the Contract and Support Administrator you will provide high quality administration support and services within the Workplace Relations Contracts and Support Team to the People and Culture Directorate, and all Barwon Health Managers and Employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and issue employment contracts and variations to new and existing employees in line with manager approvals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and distributed in a timely manner.
* Coordinate new starter onboarding administration, ensuring all required documentation is completed, received, and accurately entered into payroll, recruitment and contract administration systems prior to commencement.
* Maintain accurate personnel records and systems, including digital and hard copy files, manual updates, data entry, and document preparation as required by the Workplace Relations Contracts and Support Team.
* Manage compliance requirements, including tracking and coordinating police checks and Working with Children Checks, processing fit2work applications, and ensuring renewals are completed prior to expiry.
* Support team workflow and service delivery, sharing workload across administrators, coordinating tasks, and providing light reception cover as required.
* Ensure high standards of documentation, audit and data integrity, promoting correct record-keeping practices and undertaking regular documentation checks.
* Comply with organisational information security, privacy and governance requirements, and undertake other administrative duties as directed by the Workplace Relations Contracts and Support Team Leader.
What we’re looking for
* Certificate III in Human Resources (or higher) and/or relevant experience, with demonstrated experience processing employment contracts.
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, results-driven administrative environment, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
* Highly developed written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar and experience drafting professional correspondence.
* Strong system administration and accurate data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
* Effective stakeholder engagement and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations and work collaboratively in a multi-functional team
