* Oversee stock management, ensuring efficient inventory control and optimal operational performance.
* Elevate store presentation and visual merchandising standards, creating an engaging shopping experience for customers.
* Prioritize delivering outstanding customer service, addressing queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
* Mentor and develop talent pipelines, focusing on long-term employee retention and career progression.
* Set ambitious targets, collaborate with colleagues to achieve results, and have fun along the way.
Requirements:
* Proven store leadership experience within a large-format retailer, with a strong track record of success.
* Able to lead teams of 30+ members, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.
* Strong financial acumen, including experience in P&L analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
* A knack for managing high stock volumes effectively, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
* A passion for the outdoors and adventure (a bonus, but not essential).
* First Aid certification or willingness to complete training, ensuring the well-being of colleagues and customers.
* Full-time availability, including weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
