We're a small-but-mighty organisation that supports the mental health and wellbeing of people and workplaces through high-quality counselling, mediation and workplace services. We've got a passionate team of humans doing meaningful work—and we're on the lookout for a hands-on, systems-savvy, people-loving all-rounder to keep our wheels turning smoothly.
We're not chasing unicorns or superheroes. What we really need is someone real, practical and purpose-driven—with a keen eye for detail, a hands-on approach to their work, a knack for juggling (figuratively, but if literally, we'd be impressed), and a love of making things run like clockwork.
About the role :
As our Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the CEO and Clinical Services Manager to help steer the organisation strategically and operationally. From HR to finance, IT to compliance, you'll wear a few different hats (none too heavy) and bring clarity and calm to the everyday buzz.
You'll :
Keep the wheels turning day-to-day—whether it's the front desk or fine-tuning our policies, you'll help everything run smoothly.
Lead with heart and support our team to shine in their roles (cheerleader hat optional, but encouraged).
Get hands-on with finances, budgets, and payroll—we've got great systems, and you'll help us to keep them humming.
Keep us on the right side of compliance, WHS, HR frameworks, and all things people-related.
Spot ways to work smarter, not harder. We love fresh ideas that make life easier.
Jump in where needed—we're a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of crew.
Help spread the word about what we do and keep our connections with partners strong and positive.
Bring your bright ideas and good vibes to the table—work as a part of our Leadership Team to help shape and grow an organisation that's going places
Opportunity to occasionally act as CEO (cape still not required).
About You
You're calm under pressure, proactive by nature, and energised by variety. Whether it's networking, refining a process, supporting the team, ordering coffee or coordinating a million moving pieces, you just get it done – and you do it with a smile.
Your strengths might include :
Being scarily organised - colour-coded calendars maybe your jam
A can-do attitude and a knack for spotting solutions faster than you can say "problem-solving."
Experience wrangling the behind-the-scenes stuff—operations, compliance, HR, or business development—with heart and purpose leading the way.
A cool head and warm heart—comfortable switching between strategic thinking and hands-on doing.
Some solid skills in finance, HR, or risk—or you're keen to learn—and you're always ready to roll up your sleeves.
Communication superpowers, including the underrated (but oh-so-important) art of listening. You thrive in a team and love building a great vibe.
Making tech and systems work for people, not the other way around
A strong sense of purpose and a love for supporting others and helping them thrive
Having the creds - Whether it's a qualification in HR, business, or social sciences—or you've been rocking it in similar roles for 3+ years—you bring the perfect blend of knowledge and hands-on experience to the table. Maybe you're ready to take on a small client load
Not just wanting to tick boxes—you're here to make a real impact and make a big difference in people's lives.
Bonus points if you've worked in health, counselling or community services, have experience in mediation, training, counselling or professional supervision, or understand how to keep a heart-led service humming behind the scenes.
You'll be part of a purpose-driven team making a genuine difference in people's lives.
You'll have real variety, real responsibility, and real opportunities to shape how we grow.
Flexible work culture, generous leave, and the chance to bring your full self to work.
Ability to access professional supervision, training and health and wellbeing initiatives that recognise you as an individual.
Salary sacrifice benefits up to $15,900 for living expenses and an additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment.
Generous wellbeing initiatives including access to additional paid time off.
Sound like a fit?
We're not after perfection – just someone who is positive, practical, dependable, adaptable, and excited to be part of something meaningful. If you're ready to jump in and make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you
Remuneration will be under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award with salary commensurate to experience and hours worked.
