Summary:
The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing an organization's software, hardware, and networks. They ensure the security and reliability of the technology infrastructure and provide technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
* Jira ticket management and resolution
* Check in / out assets
* Maintain and purchase operational and system assets
* Handle sensitive and confidential data or material
* Monthly systems reporting: ISO27001 reporting and management meetings
* Ad-hoc tasks, as required in support of any of the teams
* New staff onboarding and offboarding (access, training of new staff on associated systems)
* Work with subcontractors and assist with subcontractor onboarding
* Programming / scripting as required for the role
* Project based work to implement new and improved system operations
* Champion continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to actively improve current processes
* Coaching, training and mentoring of direct report staff

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
* Good knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security methods
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to collaborate effectively with others as part of a team
