About the role
Are you a passionate retail professional with strong leadership and people management capabilities? We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Silent Theory clothing store in the picturesque coastal town of Byron Bay. This is a full-time position based in our Byron Bay store.
What you'll be doing
* Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience
* Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, sales, and financial performance
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance the store's competitiveness
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
* Provide coaching and development opportunities to support the growth and performance of the store team
* Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the fashion or apparel industry
* Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
* Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
* Proficient in inventory management, merchandising, and financial reporting
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for the fashion industry and a strong understanding of current trends
