As aPerformance Manager,you'llplay a pivotal role in shaping the culture,capabilityand performance of Jetstar's Airport workforce. Leading a large,diverseand customer-focused team,you'lldrive the delivery of key people initiatives that enable strong engagement, consistent performance, and operational excellence.
With a visible, hands-on leadership style,you'llcoach and support frontline leaders, embed a high-performance culture, and ensurepeopleprocesses are delivered with consistency and impact. Operating within a fast-paced,unionisedenvironment,you'llbalance operational priorities with meaningfulpeopleoutcomes, helping our teams perform at their best every day.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
* Drivingstrong teamengagement and performance through effective leadership and coaching
* Leading the delivery of core people processes including one-on-ones, performancereviewsand development planning
* Managing performance matters end-to-end, including investigations and disciplinary processes
* Supporting recruitment and workforce planning to meet operational needs
* Delivering Airport change initiatives aligned to both operational and people priorities
* Building strong, trusted relationships with unions, HSRs and key operational stakeholders
* Championing employee engagement, recognition, and diversity & inclusion initiatives
* Maintaining a strong, visible presence on the floor to support and lead teams in real time
To be considered, key skills will include:
* Proven people leadership experience within a large,complexor industrial environment
* Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and lead high-performing teams at scale
* Strong experience managing performance, including investigations and disciplinary processes
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, particularly withinunionisedenvironments
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
* A proactive, resilient mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement
* Confidence interpreting and applying HR policies,proceduresand Enterprise Agreements
* Strong systems capability, including experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday.
