About The Role
The Project Engineer coordinates on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities
* Assist with budget preparation and reporting
* Monitor construction progress and report to the Site Manager or Project Manager
* Interpret designs for construction projects
* Contribute to design improvements
* Aarrange and oversee tender letting
* Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen
* Assign work and assist with reviews
* Execute knowledge of contractual and legislation
* Undertake risk assessments
* Analyse and use document management, progress and project performance reporting
* Demonstrate sound people management skills
* Utilize effective time management skills
Requirements
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
* Significant demonstrated experience in a Site or Project Engineering role within the Building Construction industry
* Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities
* Understanding of Project Design, Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Plans
* Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements
