We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Teacher to inspire and educate the next generation of IT professionals. In this role, you will deliver high-quality learning experiences to a diverse cohort of students, ensuring they achieve outstanding educational outcomes. Your expertise and passion for teaching will be key to fostering student success as you deliver the Certificate III in Information Technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and supporting learners to reach their full potential.
As the successful candidate you will have:
* A relevant qualification and industry experience.
* Great communication skills
* Sound knowledge of current industry trends
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (GOTAFE supports on the job completion)
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
* A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
* A current Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
* A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary for this position is from L1.1 to L3.5 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.
