Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinema, hospital, and schools.
Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 5 restaurants, poolside bars, tour desk, Resort Shop, and Chahoya Day Spa and Hair Salon.
We are currently seeking a customer service professional to join our small, friendly resort-based Reservations department as a Groups and Guests Service Coordinator on a Full-Time Basis. You will be responsible for FIT, group & conference bookings with the aim of maximizing service, yield, and occupancy.
This position involves:
1. Liaising with Wholesalers, Travel Agents, Tour Group Companies, OTA's & Professional Conference Organizers (PCO's).
2. Cooperating, coordinating, and communicating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, and other resort departments as required.
3. Reporting directly to the Reservations Manager or in their absence, the Sales Manager.
4. Working in conjunction with the Reservations Manager and Reservation Clerk on projects and day-to-day tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality/Tourism industry (essential).
* Proven customer service experience.
* Certification in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision, and/or Health and Safety Standards is an advantage.
* Strong computer skills, preferably with Hotel/Resort Front of House systems.
* Proven administrative experience including organizational and time management skills.
