**Mining Manager Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Mining Manager to oversee pit operations and earthworks construction for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. This is a site-based camp job at a remote mine site with 15 days on/13 days off rotation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years direct supervisory/management experience in heavy civil and/or mining, with demonstrated experience in mine planning, scheduling, construction leadership, and drill & blast. A Bachelor's degree in Mining or Civil Engineering is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.
Skill Requirements:
* Expertise in heavy civil and mining construction
* Experience leading large, multi-discipline crews
* Detailed understanding of technical aspects of civil and mining
* Contract management and cost control experience
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and 3D design software
Responsibilities:**
1. Manage pit operations and earthworks construction
2. Lead site-based teams and contractors
3. Ensure project safety regulations and health and safety procedures are implemented
4. Directly manage the overall earthworks construction schedule and budget
5. Work directly with Mobile Maintenance team to ensure equipment maintenance
6. Manage multiple workfronts to ensure they are adequately resourced and meet environmental and safety regulations
