Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a background inPsychology or Rehabilitation Counsellinginterested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector inTownsville, QLD.

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants toalleviate administrative tasks);
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes & partneringwith employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
Working across various schemes such as workers compensation,compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs & supportthose with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
Completinga variety of assessments using your clinical skills, including but not limited to initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.

Qualifications
You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
Full or Provisional ProfessionalRegistration with AHPRA orFull Professional Membership with ASORC or eligibilty to obtain
Strong interpersonal skills- there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders
Excellent Time management and organizational skills
Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
Patience and resilience -essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insuranceis a must
