ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Branch Administrator your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the branch by meticulously overseeing daily operations and administrative tasks. This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including managing and refining administrative procedures, providing comprehensive assistance in financial management tasks such as budget tracking and invoice processing, and coordinating staff recruitment, training, and supervision to foster a productive work environment.
You will be tasked with ensuring adherence to compliance standards and the preparation of detailed reports, offering exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction, and facilitating robust internal communications to ensure all staff members are well-informed. Additionally, the administrator oversees the branch's facilities management, maintaining a safe and functional workspace, ensures the reliability and functionality of technology and equipment, organising and managing inhouse events to strengthen team unity and communication, and provide essential support and training to staff, thereby contributing significantly to the branch's alignment with Dahlsens values and ensuring its successful operation.
You will report to the Branch Manager who will provide direction, mentorship, and assistance, ensuring you are equipped to meet the responsibilities and contribute effectively to the branch's success.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You will be the first point of contact for customers and builders who come into the branchGeneral account keeping duties such as receipts, invoicing, and collating financialsProcess and distribute incoming and outgoing mailEnsure all records are marked, arranged and filed accuratelyProcessing of the inwards goods paperworkBranch planning abilitiesOrganising and maintaining file systems and recordsOther administrative tasks as outlined by the Branch ManagerQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Drivers License (preferred)Ability to work on your own and in a team thrive in a team environmentSomeone who is organised and a whiz at all things to do in the officeHas some product experience with timber and building materialsStrong planning and organisational skillsPERKS
