About This Role
This Business Analyst position involves supporting Operations business units by owning analysis data and findings to enable business leaders to make informed decisions.
You will be responsible for drawing conclusions from data, applying statistical techniques and developing strategies to support key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct regular analysis of warranty, logistics and warehouse expenses.
* Collaborate with the Peace of Mind (Aftermarket) team to provide support.
* Participate in initiatives and projects to assist the business in meeting working capital KPIs within areas of responsibility.
* Work closely with Operations Director and regional teams to present monthly results.
* Implement processes aimed at driving cost-saving initiatives.
* Prepare commentary on month-end actual results, including explanations of significant variances to budget and forecast.
* Provide timely financial information for consolidation reporting, adhering to group and company policies, standards and schedules.
* Liaise with Sales and Quality teams regarding issues impacting operations, such as sales promotions, product launches, product run-outs, endemic faults, recalls and rework.
* Develop strategic plans, budgets and quarterly and monthly forecasts for Transport, Warehouse and Warranty Costs, including uploading to TM1.
* Oversight of warranty provisioning and ensuring shared services calculation is accurate.
* Maintain reporting systems for operations and warranty costs, including Power BI reports.
* Process operations investment requests and business cases, including cash flow modeling.
* Present warranty financial results at the monthly quality meeting.
* Maintain internal control procedures to meet Electrolux Control Systems (ECS) compliance and ensure adherence to company policies.
* Monitor Logistics expenses and ensure they are accurately captured and reported as required per Accounting Manual.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial finance environment.
* Management Accounting or Analyst background or experience from a Big 4 Audit Firm.
* An ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance professionals.
* A business-related degree qualification.
* CA or CPA qualification or membership.
* Power BI and SAP experience preferred.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft applications.
