About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Rockingham TAFE. In this role, you'll prepare hot breakfasts and lunches, craft fresh sandwiches, wraps, and rolls, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook hot meals for breakfast and lunch to a high standard
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations
* Monitor kitchen stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
* Work collaboratively to support a positive and efficient kitchen environment
About You
You're an experienced cook with a strong work ethic and a team-focused attitude. We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced with 3–4 years (or more) in a similar cooking or catering role
* Knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene practices
* Organised, efficient, and methodical in your kitchen approach
* In possession of (or willing to obtain) a Food Handling Supervisor Certificate and a Current Police Clearance
* A great communicator with strong time management skills
* Available to work Monday to Friday only – no weekends, no public holidays, no school holidays
