The Opportunity
Benetas Eaglehawk is nestled among gardens and outside terraces and boasts internal courtyards with roses and fountains, as well as a BBQ and vegetable patch and located in California Gully VIC 3556. Our PCWs provide empathy, support and companionship to our residents through daily living activities, assisting with meal services, providing engaging, inclusive activities and day programs. What We Offer
This is a casual position working AM and/or PM, with duties such as:
* Assist residents with daily activities according to their needs and choices
* Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse on shift
* Plan and support residents with social and lifestyle activities within the home
* Document information including all required charting and progress notes
* Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Aging / Individual Support. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker.
* A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
