About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be integral to the ongoing development and leadership of our Cath Lab nursing team.
This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys supporting others to grow and who leads through collaboration, expertise and initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing clinical leadership, guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, as well as student nurses and HA's
Delivering and coordinating education, competency development and training
Supporting safe, evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
Promoting a positive and professional team culture
Contributing to workflow coordination and high-standard patient care delivery
Ensuring compliance with relevant clinical standards, policies and procedures
Expected to act in a relieving role for Clinical Manager or clinical specialty
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Extensive experience in cardiac or peri-procedural nursing (Cath Lab experience desirable)
Demonstrated leadership and clinical teaching capabilities
Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
