About the Role
Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV protection systems/schemes, experience with IEC***** / GOOSE communications is highly desirable.
Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Substation secondary systems and primary plant.
Commissioning, testing and maintaining various HV/LV plant/assets.
Commissioning, testing and maintaining power generation systems.
Commissioning, testing and maintaining power transformers.
Provide technical support and training to technicians.
Provide leadership and supervision to technicians.
Prepare commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and detailed technical reports on completion of works.
About You
Preferable "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License or Engineering Degree / Diploma in Power Systems (Engineers Australia recognised).
Minimum 10 years' experience.
HV switching ticket preferred.
Experience with IEC***** and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favorably.
Knowledge of appropriate Australian and international standards.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Proven ability to meet project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience using the Omicron suite of equipment for secondary system testing.
Power station experience viewed favorably.
