Your New Role
As Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day site management, ensuring construction is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and subcontractors to coordinate trades, monitor quality, and drive progress on a fast-paced, high-profile build.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on-site with clear direction and regular communication
* Conduct and enforce WH&S compliance
* Review drawings and specifications to ensure correct construction methods
* Monitor progress and report regularly to the Site Manager & Project Manager
* Maintain a clean and well-organised site at all times
* Identify and resolve issues or delays proactively
* Ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
* Experience on Commercial Construction Projects with a sound Knowledge of Concrete Structures
* Able to communicate clearly with large sub-contractor teams
* Able to carry out & organise works independently & contribute to weekly lookahead programs
* Able to follow instructions, set targets and meet deadlines
* Sound problem solving abilities and able to carry out works independently
* Able to Identify or foresee potential risks & compliance issues
* Able to Identify high risk activities in construction
* Able to manage & prioritise site labour teams
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Proven experience as a Site Foreman on commercial or large-scale residential projects, structural works experience would be an advantage
* Strong understanding of building practices, drawings, and WH&S regulations
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to coordinate and motivate subcontractors and site teams
* Construction White Card
* Driver's licence and own transport
* Legal right to work and live in Australia permanently
