Responsibilities
As the VIC Regional Director, you will:
* Lead business development and project delivery across Victoria, focusing on HV and renewable energy projects.
* Build and manage a high-performing local team to deliver exceptional results.
* Collaborate with national teams on major projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with company goals.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
* Occasionally travel as required to oversee projects and foster client relationships.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
* A proven network within Victoria's energy sector, particularly in renewables, transmission & distribution, or energy infrastructure.
* Technical credibility, ideally with experience in grid connection, engineering, or commissioning.
* A values-driven approach, demonstrating respect, client focus, and collaboration.
* Strong leadership skills with a mature, flexible, and open mindset – no micromanagement here.
* A track record of success across multiple organisations or project types.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will include:
* Engaging with key stakeholders to identify and secure new business opportunities.
* Overseeing the delivery of diverse projects, including substations, transmission lines, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind farms.
* Leading and mentoring your team to achieve operational excellence.
* Collaborating with national teams to align strategies and share best practices.
* Representing the company at industry events and fostering relationships within the energy sector.
