Job Summary
Austal is seeking a skilled Naval Architect to join their Design team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will design vessel local and global structure, equipment foundations, hydrostatic and stability calculations, resistance, and powering calculations.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of design and drawings including calculations and reports.
* Selection and requisitioning of hull, fire, and safety equipment.
* Design in accordance with technical requirements (Specification, contract, and relevant rules).
* Design in accordance with Austal processes for safety, quality, and risk mitigation.
* Providing Design support through production, commissioning, and delivery.
