Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the role of Front Office Duty Manager.


Your Key Responsibilities

* Manage the Hotel Front Office operation to achieve market leadership reputation
* Supervise guest arrivals and departures ensuring room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused
* Provide guests with local tourism information and arrange tours and transportation
* Liaise with Reservations office for accurate room allocation and maximising yield
* Utilise the Front Office system to ensure accuracy in use and produce reports to meet operational needs
* Liaise with Maintenance to complete maintenance requests quickly, prioritising guest needs
* Assist night audit function with Financial Controller, ensuring accuracy while maintaining customer focus
* Prepare Front Office monthly reports
* Maintain public areas cleanliness and presentation through regular monitoring
* Evaluate and review customer satisfaction
* Induct new staff into the team, department and Hotel
* Ensure occupational health and safety regulations compliance


Requirements

* Minimum two years' experience in hotel or motel management
* Diploma in Hotel or Motel Management (desirable)
* Strong leadership skills with ability to make quick decisions
* Customer-focused mindset with outstanding guest experiences
* Tech-savvy with adaptability to new systems
* Detail-oriented, proactive and results-driven
