Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor role based in Mackay, QLD. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting detailed field surveys for engineering, construction, and cadastral projects. Day-to-day tasks include operating advanced surveying equipment, setting control points, preparing accurate survey reports, and supporting the design and construction process. The Surveyor will collaborate with project teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of survey plans
Understanding of construction, engineering, and cadastral surveying practices
Strong skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and technical accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
Relevant qualifications in Surveying or a related field
Proficiency in surveying software and CAD tools is preferred
Current driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to workplace safety protocols
