About the role
We are seeking a full-time Butcher/Storeman to join our team at Woodward Foods - QLD Division located in Morningside, QLD. In this varied role, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging a range of high-quality meat products, as well as maintaining the overall organisation and cleanliness of our store.
What you'll be doing
1. Cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats to the highest standards
2. Packaging and labelling meat products according to company and industry standards
3. Receiving, unloading, and organising stock deliveries in the store
4. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised store environment
5. Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
1. At least 2 years of experience as a Butcher, being ale to break down carcass
2. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations in the butchery industry
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with speed and accuracy
4. Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the business
