About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Reliever Pharmacist to join our Tasmanian team. As a Reliever Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing backup support to our pharmacy network by filling in for staff leave or periods of increased demand.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the provision of pharmacy services in retail settings, with a focus on expanded scope services.
* Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
* Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
* Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharge.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
* Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA general registration.
* A current driver's license and roadworthy vehicle fit for purpose.
* The ability to commit to a frequent travel schedule.
