Disability Support Worker Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working directly with clients living with a disability, providing support and assistance in their daily lives. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in the disability sector, hold a Cert IV in Disability, and possess a NDIS Screening Check, First Aid certification, and a current Australian driver's license.
This role involves supporting clients with various disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and sensory impairments. You will work closely with clients, families, and other support workers to deliver high-quality services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing direct support to clients with disabilities
* Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
* Encouraging and supporting clients to participate in recreational activities
