What I Will Be Doing 
As a Support Worker at Northcott, I will empower customers to live as independently and confidently as possible — supporting them to build daily living skills, maintain their health and safety, and stay connected to their community. 
- Support customers with personal care in a way that promotes dignity and independence. 
- Assist with safe manual handling using equipment such as hoists and transfer aids. 
- Follow individual care plans to support health needs, such as epilepsy and wound care. 
- Administer medication safely and accurately according to medication management plans. 
- Prepare and support mealtimes according to mealtime management plans. 
- Help customers maintain a clean and safe home environment, for example light cleaning, laundry, shopping. 
- Assist with community access, social inclusion, and everyday outings. 
- Encourage and enable daily living skills to build confidence and independence.
