Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Canberra. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, drive project delivery, and work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes. Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of urban development projects.
- Provide technical oversight and mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and fee proposals.
- Undertake and review detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements, utilities, and car parks.
- Liaise closely with architects, landscape architects, planners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Manage project meetings, client communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee project management activities including reporting, risk management, and QA processes.
- Support business development through bids, proposals, and maintaining solid client relationships.
- Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes, design quality, and delivery.
