Are you an experienced hospitality or club professional ready to lead daily operations in one of NSW’s most beautiful coastal locations? Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club is looking for an Operations Manager to join our passionate team and help shape the future of our busy, friendly Club.

Role Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Club under the supervision of the General Manager, ensuring excellence in service, compliance, and business performance across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage key business units including bars, gaming, bowls, and events.

- Advise the General Manager on operational matters and business opportunities.

- Oversee rostering and ensure effective staffing levels and cost control.

- Manage stock control, gaming clearances, and analysis.

- Act as the General Manager’s delegate in their absence — leading staff and managing operations.

- Support the development and enforcement of internal policies and compliance with NSW liquor and gaming legislation.

- Liaise with caterers, function coordinators, and suppliers to deliver high-quality member and guest experiences.

- Drive operational improvements and maintain strong working relationships with managers, staff, and the Board of Directors.

Skills & Qualifications

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certifications (NSW).

- Solid background in hospitality or the registered club industry.

- Proven leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

- Solid financial and commercial acumen.

- Ability to thrive in a busy, hands-on environment and meet deadlines.

- Confident with POS, wages/rostering systems, and gaming platforms (e.g., SwiftPOS, S7000, or similar).

- Business, hospitality, or management qualification (desirable).
