Job Description:

As an Environmental Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the daily operations of our environmental department are efficient and effective. Your key responsibilities include managing cleaning services, waste management, linen, and ensuring compliance with GV Health's Cleaning Program.
In this role, you will report directly to the Environmental Services Coordinator and work closely with the team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control are maintained. You will also provide advice and support to external campuses and services as required.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience or in a similar role
* Knowledge of OH&S Infection control and safe chemical handling
* Experience in training and auditing
* Demonstrated compliance with workplace Regulations, Australian Standards, Infection Control, Workplace Health Safety and Wellbeing and relevant industry standards
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly developed written and verbal skills
* Demonstrated skills in team building
* Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Computer systems
* Knowledge of Cleaning standards for Victorian health facilities
* Ability to align resources to operational requirements
